QR codes for tickets and everything else
This generator builds static QR codes — the data lives in the pattern itself, with no redirect in the middle, so the code never expires and works offline forever. That makes it well suited to printed tickets, wristbands, table cards and signage. If you are issuing real tickets, pair the code with a single-use ID checked at the gate; see ticket security for why the barcode alone is only a lookup key.
Make a code that actually scans
- Keep strong contrast — dark dots on a light background. Inverting (light on dark) fails on many readers.
- Leave the quiet-zone margin intact; don't crop right to the edge of the dots.
- If you tint the code or add a logo, raise the error-correction level to Q or H.
- Download SVG for print (sharp at any size) and PNG for screens.
Frequently asked questions
Do these QR codes expire?
No. These are static QR codes — the data is encoded directly into the pattern with no redirect server, so the code keeps working forever and there is no subscription. The trade-off is that the destination cannot be edited after the code is generated.
Is the QR generator private?
Yes. Everything runs in your browser. The links, passwords, and contact details you type are never uploaded to a server.
PNG or SVG — which should I download?
Use SVG for anything printed or resized: it is a vector and stays sharp at any scale. Use PNG when you need a simple image file for a slide, web page or social post. PNG exports up to 4096px.
